New LibDem Councillor for Newport

Bob Unwin has become the new LibDem member for West Ward on Newport Town Council, following the resignation of a sitting councillor. He was selected from a number of candidates who put their names forward for the position. Writing in the Autumn edition of the Newport Focus, Bob invites residents of West Ward to contact him about any issues that he could help with, and declares that he will oppose any attempt by Telford and Wrekin Council to penalise Newport through unjust charges, or cuts in facilities and services.
